I truly hope to convey our understanding of the font in a more particular form, even try to record a bunch of keywords, but ultimately, they are overwhelmed by the “X” under the pen.
At that time Mr. Katsumi Asaba’s articles and interviews were already completely translated, it seemed that Mr. Katsumi’s research on characters even made the time moved. Additionally, the font materials personally collected by Mr. Qing gong Jiang has restored exactly the development of Shanghai font.. If this part is missing, all things are not complete. These are the most precious treasures we have harvested.
I have received Mr. Tony Seddon’s article finally, and this made me find the root of this theme--we don’t need to be deliberately mystifying and grandstand, just using the most genuine stories and the most original moment, the state of the font could be represented.
