Alan Barlis officially formed a new partnership with Dennis Wedlick in January 2007. That year, their firm, Dennis Wedlick Architect LLC was chosen to be a part of the Architectural Digest 100 list of architectural practices. In 1997, Barlis graduated with a Masters of Architecture from MIT and immediately began collaborating with Wedlick on the firm’s most complex projects.
Julie V. lovine is a writer, editor and critic for The New York Times, The New York Times Magazine, and The Architect's Newspaper. She is also the author ofGuggenheim: New York/Bilbao Michael Graves and Chic Simple: Home. She lives in New York.
