Following practical training at the daily newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung, Tatjana Seel established the prestigious interior magazine Deco Home (publisher Winkler Medien Verlag). A freelance author since 1996, she researches, writes and produces reports, profiles and interviews on interior design and travel for numerous magazines, work that takes her all over Europe. To this day she has never lost her passion for impressive architecture, dazzling interiors, interesting people and exceptional landscapes. Working as a journalist has enabled her to bring together all these aspects––for which she is eternally grateful. Tatjana’s portrait was taken by the photographer Mads Mogensen during a photo shoot on Majorca. For the set he chose a Ligne Roset ‘Fifty’ armchair: A quirky coincidence given that the author has visited and profiled numerous designers for the French furniture company. Tatjana Seel lives with her family just south of Munich and close enough to the mountains to which she is profoundly connected.
