As the title suggests the re-use and re-configuration of industrial buildings occupies the lions share of this number. Projects featured include: Grimshaw Architects’ Museo del Acero-Horno, OMA’s Riga Contemporary Art Museum and Prada Foundation projects and the Alvéole 14 – Transformation of a Submarine Base project by LIN, Finn Geipel + Guilia Andi. Further works and projects by SuengMo Seo are examined. All are accompanied by photographs, plans, elevations, diagrams and explanatory texts.
