A.MAG 12: BAROZZI VEIGA Architects

The office of Fabrizio Barozzi and Alberto Veiga is the focus of this issue. Based in Barcelona, the architects have been active together since 2004, and received the Mies van der Rohe Award in 2015.

Public buildings predominate their work, often buildings of international character and distinct materialities that are seen as enhancing the experience of a place with sensitivity and rigour.

Featured are several built projects, such as the Graubünden Museum of Fine Arts and the Szczecin Philharmonic Hall, others that are ongoing or under construction, like the Cantonal Museum of Fine Arts and the Guerrieri Rizzardi Guest House, and also recent competitions and installations.
